BREZOVICA SKI RESORT

Location: Sharr Mountains - Ski resort Brezovica

Access to the point: Ski resort road Village Brezovica - Stojkova Kuca 12 km

Description: The tourist attraction point is located at the beginning of the Lynx trail. The center features hotels and inns that are more active in the winter season, but, also during other months one can find hotel facilities that are working.

In the center you can get food and provide accommodation. This is also the crossroad of other marked mountain hiking trails such as: Strbacko lake 3h and Peak Crn Kamen 3.5h.

CRNA CUKA HILL

Location: Shar Mountains - Ski resort Brezovica

Altitude: 2020 m/asl

Access to the point: Ski resort Brezovica- Stojkova Kuca 1.5h

Description: Points of interest are in the western part of the ski resort in a geographical position offering views of 360°, ideal place for rest and relaxation. From this position one can see the strictly protected part of the king's meadows, which are characterized by rich flora and fauna.

HUNTERS HUT

Location: Shar Mountains 

Altitude: 1953 m/asl

Access: From Lynx path 25 minutes, from Brezovica ski resort 2.5 hours and from picnic area at Forrester Hut 3 hours.

Description: This Point of Interest is located within the protected area of the Shar National Park. The house is built at the time of the former Yugoslavia. Today the house can be used as shelter in case of bad weather conditions or emergency situations. Near the house there are also water springs.

JAZINACKO LAKE

Location: Shar Mountains 

Altitude: 2145 m/asl

Access: From Lynx path, Brezovica ski resort 4 hours, picnic area at Forrester Hut 3.5 hours, from Prevalla 5 hours.

Description: This point of interest is located within the strict protected areas of the Shar National Park, Big Jažinačko Lake is 2,145m above sea level, just below the peak of Peskovi, which reaches a height of 2,651m (its maximum length is 125m and its maximum width is 90m). On some sides the lake is surrounded by large rocks which makes it ideal for animals to hide or live in.

This point of interest is also a crossroad of other paths for the climbing of Bistra 2651 about 2 hours and Lake May 1.5 hours.

FORESTERS HUT

Location: Shar Mountains

Altitude: 1372 m/asl

​_Access: From Lynx path, Prevalla 4km , from Brezovica Village 10km

Description: This Point of Interest is located within the protected area of the Shar National Park, along the regional road R-115, known as the forestry house but for the moment the house is damaged and offers no shelter, except for the area that is known as a particular space and it is frequented by many local residents and more for recreational purposes. Nearby, there is a water source that is estimated to have very good mineral properties and it is believed to have a healing impact.
